a relationship between two quantities such that one is proportional to a fixed power of the other.


Science is filled with these type of nouns. It's like a different language. If you don't know what they mean, it just gets really difficult to know what a phrase meant. If you use them, you sound very knowledgeable, even though it's just vocabulary what you know.
